September 20, 2011 Meeting
Horticulture activity twice a year is a plant exchange. Members displaying plants: Linda Thomas, Sandra Underwood, Daisy LeBlanc, Cleo Picou, Gretchen Lambert, Peg Rentrop, and back row: Fedora Boudreaux, Dorothy Barrow, Claire Sawyer, Sharon Larson, Rosa Butler, Evelyn Estay, Sandra Marshall, and Iris Roy. Absent from photo is Reporter Ginger Griffin.

Daisy did the design exhibit and the meeting was at Iris's home.
National Garden Club Week 2011
The Patterson Garden Club donated two gardening books to the Patterson Branch Library. On hand PGC President Sandra Marshall (3rd) and Daisy LeBlanc and Iris Roy (last two)
Members enjoyed the first meeting.
LGCF District III Meeting 2011
Members attended the District III President's Luncheon at Rip Van Winkle Gardens in New Iberia on June 29.

March 2011 Meeting
The theme for this month's meeting was "Conserving Energy in the Home", and the guest speaker was Ms. Lanie Borel, residential & commercial business developer with Cleco Power. Ms. Borel presented all the members with a home conservation kit and gave a presentation on energy saving tips.
PGC honors Veterans
City officials and garden club members gather at the Blue Star By-Way marker after the program honoring Veterans November 5.
October 19 Meeting Painting Fun
The monthly meeting for the Patterson Garden Club was held on Tuesday, October 19th at the Patterson Civic Center. Hostesses for the meeting were Ginger Griffin, Peg Rentrop, and Rosa Butler.
Blue Star Marker Ceremony
PGC has a ceremony each year honoring veterans at the Blue Star By-way marker at City Hall. PJHS played patriotic music.

Reagan Beaubouef led the Patterson Garden Club members in step-by-step instructions in "Creating a Flower" with acrylics. District III Meeting
Members attended the LGCF District III meeting at the Lafayette Petroleum Club October 14 hosted by the Lafayette and Gueydon Clubs.
